In this module, we will return to the formation of nouns in the locative case, but will focus on changes that occur to consonants that precede the ending.

Only a small group of masculine nouns ending in , and take the endings -ці, -зі, and -сі respectively in the locative case. As you will learn in module 4.4, the rest of the masculine nouns ending in will add the ending and not undergo any stem changes. Compare:
